Practice Opportunities & Events

The Practice Opportunities and Events Team (POET) supports the manifestation of on-line and in-person relational Dharma offerings and events.

We collaborate closely with the Insight Dialogue Teaching Community to develop and oversee a variety and balance of relational Dhamma programs in various formats to meet the needs and aspirations of practitioners. We serve as a resource for community members wishing to initiate events or programs by connecting them to human and material resources within the Insight Dialogue Community. We support event sub-teams in areas ranging from venue and publicity to team culture and working dynamics.

Our team meets biweekly via videoconference, engaging as spiritual friends to support each other in relational practice, actively applying the Insight Dialogue guidelines to the nitty-gritty of practical considerations and challenges. As members of POET, we endeavor to journey together as a sangha of service on the Noble Eightfold Path. We put together our reflections in a document called  “Teaming on the Noble Eightfold Path.”

POET is seeking new members (or assistants) capable of envisioning and realizing our presence on social media, an important area of development for the Insight Dialogue Community. To learn more, please contact info@insightdialogue.org.
